I had a great three days working with the Art Students at Yale College in Wrexham.

I have spaces left on the spinning course I am running this Friday 26th and Saturday 27th October 2012 if anyone would like to learn this ancient craft and create your own stunning hand spun wool, you can come for one or two days, bring your own wheel or I can provide wheels.  Please contact for further details

 

 

TWO DAY BEGINNERS/IMPROVERS BASKET MAKING WORKSHOP

There are two spaces left on the two day stick and strand (traditional) basket making course held at my Studio near Llanidloes.  It takes place on the 14th and 15th of October and will include exploring different basket shapes and how they are constructed, grading and sorting willow and their different uses. creating a small to medium round basket which could be a shopping basket with a handle, questions and answer sessions through out the sessions.  Copious amounts of tea, coffee and biscuits through the day.
